We have two ponds on the property we live on, and Sean loves to take the kids back there to fish. On Christmas Eve, he said they were going back there to fish and I laughed! I thought it was to cold to catch anything, but boy was I wrong!! Hayden caught 6 fish and was so excited. He made sure everyone knew his Daddy caught 0.
Proud Daddy!!!!!

Happy Holidays!
We once again had a great time this holiday season. We went to the Christmas Tree Farm, like we have done every year, and got our real tree. The kids love to ride around on the wagon and see all the trees. A week before Christmas we had everyone over and celebrated with yummy food and Dirty Santa for the kids and the grown-ups. Sean closed his dealership on Saturday, so we got to spend 2 whole days with Daddy, which is a rare occasion. We thoroughly enjoyed it!! Especially on Christmas Day because I woke up feeling horrible, so I basically laid on the couch all day . Sean opened everything, put batteries in everything, took kids outside to ride their new bikes, etc. etc. He is such an awesome father, I'm so lucky to have such an amazing man in my life. We spent New Years at home with our kids, like we always have. They love to stay up late and watch the Dick Clark (Ryan Seacrest) Special. I'm excited to see what 2012 brings for our family!!

better late than never...
So Sean and I were looking at my blog the other night, and I realized that I promised Halloween pics of the kids...and I never delivered. So here they are!!
This was the first year that I didn't pick coordinating costumes for the kids. :( But I said I would only do that until they got big enough to say what they wanted to be for Halloween . Hayden wanted to be Darth Vader, so that was that! The girls were fairies.

Thanksgiving Feast
I know that I have mentioned before that my husband is an AMAZING chef, but words do his food no justice. Every time he makes something it's like a masterpiece and the best thing you have ever eaten! He was kind enough to cook the entire Thanksgiving feast (minus a couple things my mom graciously made) for all of our family, including my mom's best friend Melissa, and her daughter Jennifer. Sean made oyster stuffing, pumpkin and goat cheese risotto, garlic and mascarpone mashed potatoes, just to name a few things!! Salivating yet??!! I am really proud and honored to have a husband who selflessly spends his entire day cooking for all of our family. We all had such a great time and were so glad Melissa and Jennifer could join us for that special day.
The pretty flowers in the middle are from Sean too. It was our 6th anniversary on the 23rd! I love you babe

Like Father, Like Son
Sean really is Hayden's hero. He looks up to him so much, and does everything his Daddy does...like when he gets out of the shower, he will get dressed just like Sean is dressed! It is so sweet. He'll come out of his room and say, "Look Dad, I look just like you!!" These moments make my heart melt. I'm so glad they have such a special father/son bond, and hope it always stays that way.

Blankets
Emmaline has a slight blanket obsession. She will get every blanket she can get her hands on and just lay on them. She will play and play on the floor forever if she has blankets to lay on. It really is the cutest thing. She is easily entertained and such a sweetie.
