New Riding toys

The kids love their new riding toys...well sorta. Hayden loves his F-150 that has a real FM radio. Abigail got a Toyota FJ cruiser that does NOT have a radio, which apparently is a big deal. She will not stay out of Hayden's truck. She loves turning the radio on and off. The funny part is that Mr. Santa wanted to get Abigail a Barbie Jeep that had a real radio but Mrs. Santa wanted the Toyota. So Santa brought the Toyota, and Abigail would much rather have had the one with the radio. Guess Mrs. Santa will sit back and let Santa do his job next year, he knows what he's doing!!

Christmas Jammies

I love getting matching Christmas pajamas for my kids every year. It is one of my favorite things about the holidays. Now getting a sweet-loving picture of the kids in their matching pajamas is a different story...

Christmas Playdate

Hayden's friends from school came over yesterday for a playdate. We baked and decorated holiday sugar cookies. He also gave them their Christmas presents that he personally picked out. They all had a blast!

Build a Bear

Today Hayden had his first Build a Bear experience. He's wanted to do it for a while but we are never out at the mall for him to have that opportunity. He loved it and will want to do it many more times, I'm sure. He built an extremely soft doggie, which he named Patches, and dressed in a Fishermen outfit. Too cute!

Rottweiler for sale

I have subconsciously failed to mention 2 members of the Travis family, Oliver and Sarasota. Oliver is our pom-a-poo (that weighs 5 lbs) who I've had since I was 17. Sarasota is our rottweiler (that weighs 100 lbs) who we got about 3 years ago.  She is very large and stays inside, which I never experienced growing up. So it is something I have had to work on. She likes to give me things to do and messes to clean up, because I don't already have enough things to do!! This is the mess I got greeted with today when I came home...

Emmaline

Sorry it has been so long!! We moved our room and therefore computer around so no internet connection yet. Since we have the internet on our phones, we haven't been in a huge hurry to hook the internet back up. And since I'm not very computer savvy it has taken me this long to figure out how to blog from my phone!!!

So here is a couple of pictures of Emmaline. She is almost 4 months old now. She is simply amazing! She just eats, sleeps, and smiles. We are truly blessed and love her so much!

DisneyLive!!

Every year we go to a DisneyLive show when they come to Memphis. This year it was Mickey's Rockin Roadshow!! Which was very appropriate because that is what Hayden and Abigail are into right now. Abigail is terrified of many things, people dressed in costumes is at the top of her list, so we weren't surprised when she cried in terror when the characters first came out. Luckily she realized that it was her favorite characters and only squeezed her Daddy to death for a few minutes!

Our Little princess...

We have always called Abigail our little princess, but lately we could call her our little challenger...   She likes to challenge everything we say or do. She WAS in a crib up until about 3 weeks ago, when she learned that she could climb out. Which she did repeatedly until she just didn't have to take a nap. So we converted her crib to a toddler day bed. Now she plays and plays in her room until she becomes too tired, and then she will climb in her bed and go to sleep. Every time taking something in her bed with her to sleep, like a baby doll, book, stuffed animal...On this day she decided to take the whole baby stroller!!!

Community Helper Day

Friday at Hayden's school was community helper day. So of course, like all little boys, he wanted to be a fire man! My best friend Carrie had a fireman costume that her little boys wore a couple of years ago for Halloween, so we borrowed it. Hayden thought he was hot stuff because it looks just like what REAL fireman wear. On the way home when we past the firestation right by our house he said, "Now I can go to the firestation cause I'm a real fireman!!"

My Awesome Husband

I have finally joined the social networking world...sorta(still no FB page). I decided to start a blog and I thought it was a good idea to call it, IsSeanHomeYet?? Sean and I have three children, Hayden (4), Abigail (2), and Emmaline (2 months). We have come to learn that it is kinda hard!! So I look forward to the time of day when he gets home from work or when he is off from work. He is such a hands-on Dad and helps with whatever the kids need. He works 6 days a week and often from 8-8 everyday and still comes home and cooks dinner and does baths. (oh yeah!! I said cooks dinner...he was a chef in his previous life and man can he cook up the best food you have ever eaten!!) So this blog is dedicated to my awesome husband, who sometimes misses special moments with the kids while he's working. We love you and you're the BEST!!
